The new road alignment posed significant challenges for bridge construction. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"\u003eFirst, the valley was wider at this location. Additionally, environmental constraints, as well as issues concerning the stability of the rock face, made it impossible to install permanent structures in the river or near its shores. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"\u003eFinally, due to the steep slopes and the valley’s depth, mobilizing a crane at the bottom of the valley would have been extremely complex. The arch emerged as a solution to efficiently span the valley, leveraging the outcropping rock as support, while offering the opportunity to carry out the entire installation from the cliff edges.
