In this session, we will dissect real-world examples of structural notes and drawings that caused confusion, delays, or unintended consequences—many of which could have been avoided. In addition, we will take a look at the National Building Code of Canada, the CISC Handbook of Steel Construction, and the CISC Code of Standard Practice, and what is defined as being required to be shown on the drawings.
