This session explores common constructability considerations for the design of steel structures. Drawing on numerous real world project examples the presentation will walk through best practice recommendations for structural steel design with a focus on what details to use, and avoid, to help ensure your next steel project is a success. Standard beam end connections, column base plates, brace connection, moment connections, drawing creation best practice, and delegated design considerations will all be covered. Even if you delegate connection design on your projects, and maybe especially if you do, join us to see how a projects success or failure hinges on implementation of constructable details and our recommendations to put you in the best position for success on your next project.

Eligibility for CEUs

CEUs will be issued for this webinar to participants that meet the following criteria:

1. Participant must attend at least 75% of the webinar
2. CEUs are only eligible for a participant with a 90% attention rating. In order to maximize your rating the webinar must be full screen.
