Webinar  - 0.075 CEU

Duration: 58 m

Presented by Matt Kawczenski, PE, SE, F.SEI, Technical Sales Engineer @ Lindapter

Even the best-intentioned drawings can leave teams scratching their heads when notes and details are not clear and/or coordinated. In this session, we will dissect real-world examples of structural notes and drawings that caused confusion, delays, or unintended consequences—many of which could have been avoided. In addition, we will take a look at the National Building Code of Canada, the CISC Handbook of Steel Construction, and the CISC Code of Standard Practice, and what is defined as being required to be shown on the drawings. Walk away with tips on writing clearer notes, reducing ambiguity, and keeping your project on track and reduce change orders!

Eligibility for CEUs

CEUs will be issued for this webinar to participants that meet the following criteria:

  1. Participant must attend at least 75% of the webinar
  2. CEUs are only eligible for a participant with a 90% attention rating. In order to maximize your rating the webinar must be full screen. Working on other things while the webinar is running (i.e. not full attention) minimizes your attention rating. The webinar platform automatically tracks your rating.
  3. CEUs are issued to the registered contact person only (person with assigned seat)
