This eleven-part series of courses covers the basics of structural cold-formed steel design including its permitted uses and restrictions of applicable steels, cold-forming process and other relevant structural design considerations-all pertaining to the governing specs in the design of cold-formed steel structural members CSA S136-16. Through a combination of key aspects from cold-formed steel properties, practical examples and standards references, participants will gain a solid foundation in working with cold-formed steel.
