This Handbook Supplement reproduces, for historical reference, the metric fastener information previously published in the tenth and eleventh editions of the CISC Handbook of Steel Construction, including data for ASTM F3125M Grade A325M and A490M bolts, ASTM F436M washers, and related accessories.

Information is provided on bolt and nut dimensions, bolt grips, fastener masses, washer dimensions, thread and product designation data, slotted hole dimensions, bolt length tolerances, minimum edge distances, usual gauges, and erection clearances for impact wrenches.

Note that the use of metric fasteners is no longer common practice for steel building construction in Canada.
